I donât know who won? Orla was it?
She isnât from Berehaven
This Paudie Murray fellow sounds like an awful gimp. Straight out of the we didnât get the respect we deserved school.
How is that measured I wonder? On a respectometer?
Somebody said on the radio on Friday that they had stumbled into the final. That was the disrespect right there. Apparently they are warriors and had battled against various setbacks to get into the final.
There is bitterness going back e years at least there. KK got their act together with Downey, but the gimps that were there before that were a disgrace.
Paudie dropped the ball last year though. Thats the bottom line, and i think its more a reflection of that than anything. Last years performance and carry on doesnât deserve respect. It was mad, so i donât know why he is going on about.
Howecer they did play brilliantly on the way to the final, some of the hurling played was magnificent so the comments about stumbing were strange also.
The media were out to get the Cork camogie team this year, so they were.
Very little really so far. Itâs mainly about his personal battles with team mates and good opposition. He did however say his brother fucked off at half time in the 2008 AI.
No sign of Eddie Brennan with a post match interview. Has he gone into hiding?
Iâve just finished Jackieâs book it was quite a good read, I read it in a day. He said Waterford were men of real substance.
I look forward to reading it . I will purchase it in fact as it seems a departure from blandness .
It might have departed from blandness but I strongly imagine it stopped at the next station just down the line and didnât go any further.
Reading a book in one day is never a recommendation.
Ffs it is a sports autobiography anything even one stop beyond blandness is a plus . GAA ones are particularly bad truth told .
He doesnât hold back in what he thinks about Tipp and Cork for sure and to a lesser extent Galway. Gives a good insight into KK training and Brian Cody. Himself and Br Damien are very close. He also deals with the rumours regarding his sexuality.
Thatâs definitely not a recommendation.
I canât recommend something I havenât yet read .
Thatâs not a recommendationâŚ
God only knows why anyone would read a GAA autobiography.
âReadâ is not exactly the right word.
The first 50 pages are exceedingly bland, his stories of hedonistic drinking in CIT are cringeworthy, his âdiaryâ entries paint a picture of a very odd individual.
Dr Jack McCaffrey acting the fool whilst his manager being interviewed.
