He gave JMQ an easy decision . Utter brainfart .
Ye are nearly in Cork
Once it was seen he had to go. No two ways about it. Absolutely idiotic. If heâd left the arm down he could have got away with a booking. Instead he fell between two stools meaning he didnât even hit him a proper box and still got sent off. He got hung for a lamb.
Mickey Harte and Sean Cavanagh look a bit silly tonight with their daft approach to beating Dublin. Or maybe theyâre just shit.
Tyrone play with fear. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
Are Mayo getting more on this team than Dublin?
No MBB, STFU.
OK.
Brolly is a condescending fucker.
Brolly riling McStay.
Brolly is well sauced.
Sunday Game TOTY
Cluxton;
Fitzsimons, OâSullivan, Higgins;
Boyle, Barrett, McCaffrey;
Parsons, McCarthy;
McLoughlin, OâShea, OâCallaghan;
Mannion, Geaney, Moran.
7 Dublin and Mayo and 1 Kerry.
Some odd choices.
Doherty over McLoughlin.
Colm Cavanagh over Parsons.
Harrison over Fitzsimons
Are these cunts pissed
Mixture of looking a bit silly and the fact that they are just shit. Cavanagh was bigging up Dublin in a major way since the semi final rout, presumably to gloss over Tyrone shortcomings and whingeing rather bizarrely about the Dublin players jobs.
???
What?
Is this live ???
Andy Moran seemed to be struggling with a hamstring injury as the second half progressed, guys.
Turns out 10,000 posts is sufficient for a championship year
Not many left here either
FOLLOWING DUBLINâS DEMOLITION of Tyrone in last monthâs All-Ireland semi-final, Sean Cavanagh was in a dispirited mood.
It was Cavanaghâs last ever game in a Tyrone jersey and while the Red Hand were expected to put up a decent fight against Jim Gavinâs side, they were simply blown away by a tactical masterclass.
Shortly after the 12-point defeat, the Moy star was asked for his thoughts on why the champions appear to be so far ahead of the chasing pack.
âI donât understand how Dublin are so far ahead because in Tyrone we have given everything and I mean everything; in the gym, on the pitch â we have literally hurt our bodies every single night,â he told Newstalk. âWe have gone out for nine, 10, 11 months and that still isnât good enough.
âI believe we have some incredibly skilled players. I donât know how the game can go to any more time commitment for players, itâs incredibly hard for players. I just donât know where the game goes, how much more professional it can become.
âObviously, Dublin are way ahead and I have no idea how they are able to do it. To try and do a 40-hour-a-week job and just be blown away from another team who⌠and maybe they arenât doing 40-hour-a-week jobs similar to what other counties are, maybe thatâs one of the reasons theyâre so far ahead.â
But Cavanaghâs claims are misguided according to Dublin manager Gavin. Demands on inter-county players may be increasing, but he says his players are highly committed to their work lives too.
âIf anything, we place a big emphasis on players getting that continued professional development,â says Gavin. âThatâs part of their job. Sometimes they miss training because of it.
âI mentioned the academic cycle (earlier). We insist on players passing exams on the first go. So weâll give them time off for that.
âAnd I think when you look at the profile of the players weâve got now, weâve got two medical students in Mick Fitz (Michael Fitzsimons) and Jack (McCaffrey). A few other players are still in college but most of them are in solid professional jobs.
âThe reality of it is at inter-county level, theyâre all volunteering their time. I suppose weâre very fortunate to have employers who understand the benefits of an inter-county player in their workforce because of the discipline in sticking to a routine and being able to work in a team dynamic.
âBut we donât place any undue demand on players on a Monday to Friday.â
I thought Dublin players having jobs was similar to mobsters being on the payroll of sanitation and construction companies in the height of the US mafia?
