BRILL MARY I:shirt:

Hannon and Lynch

Where are the victory celebrations scheduled for, will they be staying in Cork tonight?

Cregan steps down from management after the game. What a way to go out

did he step down:?

@ChocolateMice upset cregan

Looks like the addition of the Thurles campus was the winning of this for Mary I

How long does it take to become a teacher? Is Declan Hannon not around 27?

Eamon Cregan getting all emotional there, fuck sake lads get fierce emotional over this weekend piss up.

Unreal, unbelievable point by Cian Lynch at the death to push the gap back out to 2. Incredible skill.

24 sometime this year. Colm Galvin is in his sixth year in Mary I by my count. Although I think he may have been ineligible due to repeating last year

Was he not in Galway for a year? It can’t be 6 either he is only 23 this year sometime

Galvin is in third year. I think it’s his fifth year in the college but may be wrong. ChocMice can confirm or his pal Joe Player. Hannon is in fourth year - it’s his fifth year too. A few of the lads from the 2013 team (Andrew Ryan for example) were there this year. To be still there they’d have to be on their fifth year in college as freshers not eligible for Fitz (unless that rule came in post '13?)

If they were doing a dip that would surely qualify them too?

How was diarmuid brynes eligible for the fitzgibbon? Given he only started college this year.

If lads do 4 Years in the Liberal Arts Course in MIC and get accepted into the Post Graduate Primary Teaching 2 Year Course that would account for the 6 years.

The B. Ed Course (Primary Teaching straight from School) is now 4 Years aswell instead of 3 so that has given them fellas for an extra year.

Hannon is doing Arts as far as I know, thats a 4 year course. So is Lynch.

The attractiveness of the Teaching Profession for young Hurlers added to economic uncertainty has seen a surge in youngfellas going into both Primary & Secondary Teaching in recent times too. Plus all the riding they’ll do while inside there.

Mama Lynch must be a happy woman.
