The School, College & University Competitions Thread (another thread gone west)

Thisā€¦ Hannon is only in 4th yearā€¦one or two others have gone on to the the Dip in primary teachingā€¦ Galvin has had to repeat a couple of timesā€¦he has no interest in being there but is being made complete itā€¦we wonā€™t mention where the money is coming from.

Why, is one of them riding her?

@ChocolateMice thinks hurling is in great shape because clare and tipp won the cup himself and you know 2 fools:joy:

Declan Hannon won that cup, palā€¦ Galvin limped off after 40mins, probably out for 8 weeks.

the whole of clares championship campaign so.

Ard Scoil have beaten CBS Kilkenny in the Post Primary quarter finals 3-15 to 1-13.

Very good result was a cunt of a draw having to beat both Kilkenny schools but that is one down, Athenry of Galway next for them though.

Another cruciate or was it mental?

Great result for them, 8 point victory over KK CBS is no mean achievement.

11 of the starting team from limerick clubs, Niall is doing a great job with hurling in that school.

St. Patā€™s Maghera have scored four goals in the first 17 minutes in the MacRory Cup final against St. Paulā€™s Bessbrook.

4-2 to 0-5 after 22 minutes.

Conor Glass is some loss to Derry GAA when he goes.

Iā€™ve heard very good things about Jarlath Burns young lad, Armagh have a lot of promising players coming through at the minute with the likes of Oisin Oā€™Neill and Aidan Rushe performing so well for Cross having just come out of minor as well, theyā€™re in the same age grouping as Burns.

Very impressive performance from the Carrickmacross corner forward in the MacLarnon Cup final, looks a player to watch out for in the future.

Great goal from Bessbrook, gap down to 6.

Oooh Ah Maghera chants are superb.

Martin Clarke has a strange accent. He sounds like heā€™s from North Antrim rather than South Down.

Henry Downeyā€™s nephew has been superb at 6.

Heā€™s a Norn Iron supporter, mate.

He supports Ireland and Derby.

Great goal chance for Bessbrook there to reduce the gap to 3.

Double hop in the build up though.
