What age is he?
Started against Clare in Ennis in the u-21 Munster semi final in 2011 I think. Graeme Mulcahy missed that match and came back in for the final against Cork as far as I remember, meaning that Griffin lost his place.
Think he was u-21 the next year too so Iâd guess he is in or around 22/23?

The Fitzgibbon and Sigerson should be played in the intercounty closed season before Christmas. Two non-entity competitions interrupting intercounty competition and team building. Wexford hurling captain Matt OâHanlon played Fitzgibbon today and is due to play Sigerson on Friday and Saturday ahead of our NHL game against Offaly next Sunday having played in Antrim last Sunday.
Agreed. Colleges have far too much influence on the GAA season, not sure when is the best time to play it off though. Itâs a complete nuisance for inter-county managers trying to deal with it just as the season is commencing.
The Railway Cup is another complete waste of time. If I was an inter-county manager Iâd ban my players from taking part in it. If you want to represent Munster or Leinster or Ulster fuck off and play rugby football. Youâre not much use to your club or county if you get injured playing for them.

I donât always agree with Liam Dunne but he said similiar re the colleges during the week. Wtf are they doing in the walsh cups, Waterford crystal etc? Sure havenât they their own competitions
Willie Grifin has been outstanding all through this years Fitz. Best player on the pitch today. Other great performances from Darren Mac, Alan Cadogan and the reliable Tipperary trio of James Barry, Dan McCormack and Stephen Maher.
UCD couldnât match the hunger of UCC when it came down to it in the closing stages.
