The School, College & University Competitions Thread (another thread gone west)

So you are happy to see a bunch of teens lose a game of football because you donā€™t like their manager . A bit extreme me thinks .

Yes.

And I generally go for the underdog anyway.

Not harsh.

Honest

Taking delight in the ā€˜failuresā€™ and disappointments of others is a very negative trait of the Irish and canā€™t be good for anyone. Iā€™d say getting a school with not much more than 200 boys to an All-Ireland semi-final is in itself a fine achievement, though obviously a failure when you consider previous successes he has had.

Is he doing all the work?

Or is he picking which teams he goes with?

I do not like him at all. I do not want him to succeed as a coach. He is all thatā€™s wrong with coaching.
He has absolutely no regard for the health of the Kerry players

Typical Cark begrudgery.

Lost puppy.

Itā€™s a pity you donā€™t have a microchip.

No wonder your name keeps changing.

Some finish in the schools final. Kieranā€™s up 12 points early on the second half and Athenry score 3 late goals to tie it, the last goal in the fourth minute of added time. Extra time.

Great win for St. Ronanā€™s College, Lurgan over Rice College, Westport in the Hogan Cup final today.

Only the schoolā€™s third year in existence!

I imagine the cup is full to the brim with Buckfast as I type.

A real tonic for Ulster football.

A great result and also for Holy Trinity Cookstown who made it an Ulster double yesterday.
