NUIG made hard work of it given they looked comfortably the better side. WIT got 2 pens. Second looked awful soft. NUIG will be happy enough having won without Brian Concannon who has been their main scorer from play so far.
Think that leaves the semi-finals as NUIG v GMIT and UL v Carlow IT.

Have the DCU/UL game on in the background. Oisin Langan is a very well informed commentator. I heard him last Sunday doing a game on Sunday sport. Heâs a serious upgrade on some RTE dross.
As an aside Matthew Costello looks a baller.

3 completely needless red cards. Totally lost their heads. And those were the intercounty lads. They might have had a couple late chances to get the ball into the NUIG goal mouth but were more interested in throwing belts and mouthing at the ref.
Moynihan especially was hilarious. Booted the ball full force off the pitch and fucked the ref out of it as he marched off.
I couldnât stand him on OTB but heâs found his niche commentating.
Good on Dubs TV also but a bit of a lickarse to his ex Gaa star co-comms.
