Hugely enjoyable game.
Thurles were very good on the sideline, made subs and positional changes. Also went shorter on the puckouts.
Them young lads have a nice little habit of winning tight games.

I’d say Athenry were sure they had it. Rossiter put Thurles up on his back for about 10 minutes to drag them back into it, Murray big at the end.
Niland maybe has some tendencies that star players at underage often have, decision-making will come hopefully.

Is there many Kilkenny lads on it? Tipp in the hurling and Derry in the football to mirror what happened at minor level last season.
Tipp boys being encouraged to sew it into the Kilkenny lads by the mentor. You love to see it
They were getting ate on the long ones but they also started disrupting the Athenry puckouts towards the last 15.
Niland going for the goal was a mad decision. He is brilliant at them but it was out to the side and the goal was well lined.
