He is given a list of players on a squad sheet with their course written beside it. All he has to do is check it off a list he already has based on course sent out to him by the authorities.
The only opposition to a player being played has to be made before the game. If a player is questioned he must have his student card and ID. The referee can cross check off the list of accepted courses and makes the decision there and then.
No appeals, no anything. Decisionade before a ball is picked or kicked.

Would the player have the right to remain silent when questioned, kev?
DCU won the dyslexia derby against UCD amidst scenes of incredible crowd involvement. Listen for the shouting of one particular DCU fanatic/substitute as a late winning penalty is awarded.
For fear of crowd trouble, the referee has gotten in and kicked with UCC this half. Wise move, those ultras were looking as mean and nasty as a Chelsea fan on the Paris underground.
Should be plenty of high jinx on the trains to Cork tomorrow with all the DCU fans heading down for the big one against the hosts. Itâll make 1980s British Rail football specials look tame by comparison. Cashmanâs are already taking bets on how many times the communication cord will be pulled in the tunnel into Cork.
Watched both semiâs today. Hard to know who was the most impressive. All 4 teams got the better of a half. The DCU-UCD game definitely was the higher quality today and DCU probably deserved the win despite the dodgy penalty. Just previous to that, that big lump of a lad who got given the peno had scored a similar one and it was wrongly ruled out. ICD had played some brilliant football after half time for a fantastic come back.
UCC were under pressure in the first half against Carlow. Carlow have some fine players. Is Brendan Murphy going there? There was a very big good lad midfield and they had some very decent inside forwards. UCC were very dominant after the break though and Luke Connolly have a master class of No. 11 play. I really hope Cork give him a proper go there this year, he looks like fulfilling some of that ridiculous talent he has. Conor Cox is a very annoying and selfish player.
UCC (and now Cork) down Ian MaGuire due to hurting himself doing Deadlifts

Should be a good final.[/QUOTE]
Yes Brendan Murphy does attend IT Carlow. The âbig lumpâ of a lad playing for dcu is conor mcgraynor of Wicklow quite a talented player. Given ur apparent vastly superior knowledge of all things gaa I would have expected you to have been able to identify these two players.
I was under the impression Murphy hadnt kicked a ball in the Sigerson this year? Heâs an odd cunt. That other dipshit is away with the fairies, were you here when he was telling us about watching Meath minor games online whe. In Australia? Fuck sake.
He was named in the squad anyway at number 19. I didnât see the game but heâs fairly recognisable so wouldnât be hard to miss if he had been. There were match programmes available so a look at one of them would probably have told kev if he was on the pitch. He played all of their oâByrne cup games unless heâs carrying an injury?
Started full forward it seems, definitely missed the earlier games due to injury or whatever knowing him. Cox scored 7 points and the other mong was still bitching about him, thats some inferiority complex the Corkman has.
I think he said Cox was too Lazy. If he makes the Kerry team or turns out to be a star he will credit Billy Morgan for it. Apparently Peter Crowley is only the player he is cos of Morgan. This is despite the fact that he was a highly rated player at underage level in Kerry before he ever set foot in UCC.
He scored 7 points, 4 from play, in what he believes to be the most competitive competition in GAA, hardly lazy. But the rest of your point is nailed on.
