Yes Brendan Murphy does attend IT Carlow. The “big lump” of a lad playing for dcu is conor mcgraynor of Wicklow quite a talented player. Given ur apparent vastly superior knowledge of all things gaa I would have expected you to have been able to identify these two players.

I didn’t have a program. From 100 + metres I doubt many would unless very familiar with the chap. Anyway you are right, he is pretty talented, although I never said anything different.
Again I hand’ put much thought into who waS playing for Carlow. But Murphy was superb for 40 mins.

I think he said Cox was too Lazy. If he makes the Kerry team or turns out to be a star he will credit Billy Morgan for it. Apparently Peter Crowley is only the player he is cos of Morgan. This is despite the fact that he was a highly rated player at underage level in Kerry before he ever set foot in UCC.

Cox is lazy. He gets dispossessed a lot, he doesn’t track, he bitches if the ball isn’t perfect and sometimes gives up.
But give him a ball out of the hands to kick over with nobody around, no problem.
He has serious ability, but he has flaws that will have to be rectified or Kerry won’t bother with him.

Murphy is an unbelievable player. Would walk onto any team in the country. Unfortunately for him he is from Carlow and will never really be appreciated for how good he is. I’ve never seen Cox play so I can’t comment otherwise but I would carry any guy that is going to kick 4 from play.

He kicked one savage point, and look his positioning is good to be able to kick them. My main point is he’s not next or near a Kerry senior now, and his demeanor would give one the impression he will be a major “project”. He also gets blocke down a fair bit.
By the way, it’s Eamon Fitzmaurice and Crowley who credit Morgan and Murray with Crowleys development
