The School, College & University Competitions Thread (another thread gone west)

The last goal and 2 points were scored by UCC subs.

I missed the first half, but I did think overall DCU slightly deserved it. However to say they were much better in any way is just wrong.

I said they had a much better panel overall. As I’ve noted previously, your comprehension skills are severely lacking.

I thought UCC left it after them myself.

Of course they have, it’s a fucking joke the way DCU load their squad.

UCC have an appalling record in Sigerson Cup finals played at the 'Dyke. Of the last 13 finals held there, they have contested 12, and lost 10.

Do the Cork Ladies footballers ever train down at the dyke?

The massive pressure from the thousands of home fans perhaps?

Mac, sometimes it’s better when you don’t type it.

It’s definitely very similar to how the pressure got to Roma and Bayern Munich when each team played on its home pitch in the 1984 and 2012 European Cup finals respectively.

So you think Cork GAA would be better off if they avoided the dyke entirely?

I’d never tell a Cork person what to do.

Mary I have lodged a counter appeal :confused:o_O

This is some farce.

No Picky no party

Thank pal. To lose is one thing but to lose at the Mecca of Third Level GAA makes it even harder to take.

More objections, DRA meeting first thing on a Tuesday morning, with games fixed and in limbo, what a fucking joke of a competition this is

Say sorry maybe tonight

How stupid do Kev and the throat look now?.. pretty fucking stupid i’d say.

I suspect they already looked pretty fucking stupid. Two gormless heads on them I’d say.

We’re not the HE Board. I apologise if I have that impression.

For what it’s worth, I heard today from an incredibly good source that the whole thing will be culled this year

Surely the competition could proceed with a combined “Mary IT Carlow” team?

Or maybe they could have five teams in the semi-finals?
