They lost freshers football championship at home v Carlow this week having a whole clatter of Kerry talent. Not having a good week.
Massive work going on in Carlow under the Dempsey brothers it seems.
We smashed em, Joe.
Ya but look who is in charge.
Agreed, feedback is not good
Nice man, but for a different generation.
I have heard (never saw the list or the team) that on paper it was comfortably the best football selection they ever had.
Now maybe Carlow were brilliant too. Who knows.
Who was in charge of the freshers.

UCC giving an exhibition here in Mardyke leading 2-06 to 0-01.
Definitely one of the best coached teams in the country. Only a handful of teams do the right thing so much like UCC
Probably a benefit of not having too many county players involved.
Whats your point about a team in 3 of last 4 finals with 2 wins?
They have 8. Down on last year but still around the same as most sides
I’m saying it’s probably a benefit as county players have other priorities.
UUJ have around 20 senior county panelists on their squad.
Oh panalists. I’d say UCC at a stab have 13/14.
Being a panalist in most ulster counties is not always the best gauge of the standard.
And from what i hear UUJ have had more access to their players than UCC have, which was zero last week.
You heard, did you?
How many current Cork and Kerry players are on the UCC team?
UUJ have off the top of my head:
R Donnelly, McNamee, Brennan, Fox (Tyrone)
O’Boyle, McKinless (Derry)
Mooney, Madine (Down)
Rafferty, Sheridan (Armagh)
McBrearty, McHugh (Donegal)
Beggan, McAnespie, Hughes (Monaghan)
Clarke, Argue (Cavan)
McKeever, Johnson (Antrim)
Regan (Mayo)
That’s 20 and there’s possibly more.
Who have UCC?
So what?
