Still the barometer for space movies. That last 30 mins or so is the pinnacle of WTF. Superb score as well.

The blue Danube segment is fantastic.

They’re all superb, even those weird Ligeti polytone pieces where there are 20 different singers doing 20 different notes at once. Very unsettling, very effective.

Apparently the soldiers back from Vietnam ate it up in the movie theatres at the time. All heavily under the influence of course. It’s a class show

Event horizon is very good. I wouldn’t class Guardians of the Galaxy as sci-fi though. haven’t seen it but love the X-Men, only recently saw x men apocalypse and Logan which were both excellent.
