@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy The farm shop at Jones Garden centre has trebled in size. It is now a fixed marquee set up on the other side of the car park. The butchers is still in the old shop with everything else across the way.

Back to my supermarket post, it’s a vicious circle. All these trucks on the road carting goods from A to B. There’s just too much production of everything. Someone said “simpler times”. Maybe so, maybe it wasn’t a simple time, maybe just less shit that was available to buy that ends up in a landfill anyhow.
If Tarquin in central London can go and buy an avocado or an orange in a Tesco express (or whatever other hundreds of options are close by in central London) then that’s a problem.
