Why? Because the victim was not white and the perpetrator was white. To the people who fomented Thursdayâs riot, Urantsetseg Tserendorjâs murder was acceptable murder.
These riots were not fomented as a response to crime. My reading of it was that there is a lot of anti immigrant stuff going on across the globe. The Ashling Murphy case was a landmark even when it happened in terms of violence against women and the link towards such cases around the world. The court case seems to have rolled into immigrant point which like it or not is very topical.
Then you get kids targeted by an immigrant - boom!
Yes there are people smart enough and racist enough to be loving this. But the vast majority are following the crowd - the danger being that immigrants are now in danger.
