Theyâve some patience.
Some lad battered half to death in Temple Bar on Wednesday night. An e-bike dropped on his head as part of the attack. While lying unconscious some hero came back and took his shoes off. His face was so disfigured he can only be identified by some tattoo on his arm. 2 men been arrested this evening.

Neither of them remember the attack apparently and looked shocked when they were shown recordings of it. Completely unprovoked. Scary shit.

Thatâs an absolutely savage attack and for no reason at all. Both of them living here and not working and now they both get legal aid. Itâs great to see my taxes going to good use.

Right, when I heard you mention these two kebab outlets, I said Iâd have to give them a call because youâre a seasoned operator and seem to know your food. I am a massive fan of Zaytoon, so when you said that these two kebab shops were better than Zaytoon, my interest was piqued and I had to check them out.
Hereâs what I found out. Well, the Reyna place is excellent. Lovely naan bread. I had the lamb spiced skewer, but it wasnât any better than Zaytoon because Zaytoonâs are sublime.
I would say it was probably a little bit below Zaytoon. Price wise, it was âŹ17, which was more expensive than Zaytoon. So for me, Zaytoon is still ahead.
The second place you mentioned, the Chiya, my God, that was awful. The pitta bread was like toast and the meat was all dried out. The only entity that that benefited from my trip there was the dog because I found it practically inedible.
So there you go. Thatâs my tuppence worth on Dublin kebabs. Zaytoon on Parliament Street is still the number one spot for kebabs. Reyna is a worthy alternative.
As an aside, donât ever go into the recently opened De German Donner Kebab shop on Camden Street, which says it has the best kebabs in Dublin. Believe me, it is the polar opposite. Absolute and utter dog food.
