One of my first musical memories and still sounds as good today as it did in 1988 or whenever it came out.

Will you go way to fuck…If Garth Brooks isn’t acceptable in here then neither is Tracy Chapman…To the guilty Pleasures thread with it

Dylan’s best song for me - Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands

What?

Say again - what?

I don’t see the need to repeat myself, double standards at play again

Here Puke would you ever go way to fuck.

Garth Brooks is a fucking fraud. A guy who say songs fit for line dancing. Tracy Chapman wrote songs about social exclusion, domestic abuse, racism etc. Just because Boyzone butchered one of her songs doesn’t mean she is fit for guilty pleasures.

And it is my thread so I can put whatever I like into it.

Garth Brooks - for fuck sake.

Tracy Chapman is a fucking nobody that makes fairly shite music farmer

James Dean Bradfield plays Little Baby Nothing acoustic on Later with Jools Holland

How many of her songs have you heard?

About as many Garth Brooks songs that you have heard

Here - go way will ya.

I am not even going to entertain such a comparison.

Ah yes. That’s a hit-trick Pukey. Fucking dinger of a song. Altough he’s Scottish, Mike Scott manages to encapsulate Ireland in this ditty, I think.

Guns of Brixton - The Clash

sorry farmer, I have to go with pukey on tracy chapman, while her lyrics are worthy etc her “music” does not make me want to sing along, dance or sway.*

I was subjected to her album for a full 2 years by a lad I shared a flat with and I was fit to kill him

  • with the exception of “talkin bout a revolution”

I think it’s a very underrated album but shur there ya go.

fair enough, I disagree with your opinion there, but I totally agree with you about brooks;)
