Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Music when the lights go out - Doherty does a great acoustic version.
I believe I read somewhere that Kate Bush also wanted to adapt Pride & Prejudice into a song but couldnât get permission for the relevant parties. I would have thought seeing as it was over 100 years old it would have been ok to do what you wanted with it. Could have been beautiful.
Very much like Midlake, Roscoe would be my favourite track, thought they had broken up or something. Will await their new album with baited breath.
Van Occupanther is my favourite track of that album. So simple yet so utterly beautiful. Speaks to me as well.
While the album did get end of year lists, it didnât get the credit it deserved. Itâs an all time classic.

That whole album is pretty good Farmer. I was obsessed with Phantom Limb for a few weeks, I was playing it about 15 times a day. Havenât listened to it since but itâs a great song.
The two previous albumsâŚtheyâre not bad as such but maybe a little boring. They donât do it for me anyway.
One of the great lost songs from the 90s.
New Fads - Life Is An Accident
Under their previous ridiculous name
New Fast Automatic Daffodils - Itâs Not What You Know

I did the same, read the lyrics, got confused, listened to the song again and again and again until I got sick of it. Rest of the album is very good alright.
Was looking to post Space (I Believe In) from Pixies and came across this âvideoâ for Planet of Sound. Bizarre.

This is a B-Side mix of an single by Renegade Soundwave which happened to be in our house back in the day. Long since lost and I canât find the B side anywhere on the web. Tried converting this video to a MP3 file but it wonât play. Darn it.
