A superb album. One you can listen to for years with no idea what he is on about (bar the odd Anne Frank reference), but once you decipher it or someone deciphers it for you, it takes on whole new meaning. Astounding lyrical content that nobody, himself included, has come close to matching.

I think he is hugely influenced by Will Oldham (aka Palace, Bonnie Prince Billy). His debut Palace album is stunning in its originality and very macabre lyrics.
