That’s my favourite Can album. Maybe because it’s the first one I bought. Hugely listenable too. A great place to start for anyone thinking of getting into Can.
Gotye had a number of massively well received albums before that song was released.
My favourite is Monster Movie. I prefer Mooney to Damo. Tago Mago is a tough listen in spots. Future Days I feel is let down slightly by the last song which is a bit all over the place I think.
Actually Soundtracks is also brilliant, if only for the existence of Mother Sky which is amongst my all time favourites. It’s more a collection of songs than an album though.
