A disappointing start for Johnny Marr post his Smiths stuff.

Iâm being harsh to be fair.
Marrâs Smiths output is up there with my favourite ever output by anyone.
Anything other than that can never live up to those levels. But Iâm not hugely gone on the song to be honest but itâs just a personal thing.

He did stuff with The The but that was his first proper album/single departure.
Wasnât he playing guitar with The Pretenders around then as well?
Similar to the The The stuff I think, nothing really official.
