Pukey, I have a funny feeling that some of our esteemed forum members will be making tits of themselves outside the Ladies jacks in Coppers to âLas Vegas in the Hills of Donegalâ very shortlyâŚ
On the subject of the Waterboys, for me the definitive version of âThe Whole of the Moonâ was by Fr Noel Furlong aka Graham Norton. Brought the house down.

âŚIt is almost impossible not to make a tit of yourself to the Hills of DonegalâŚ
Will probably live to regret this but hereâs my own âpersonalâ contribution to this thread - my own band Mellow Blue Stuff.

Just listened to those sid. Fair play, I enjoyed them and I liked the nods to modern culture or whatever youâd call it in the lyrics. Videos look like good laugh too - I reckon youâre the shaper playing guitar with your top off in the first video.
just saw celebrate on this thread, always preferred this one though
David Byrne and Brian Eno, best tune Iâve heard in a while. Itâs a grower.
You are correct Bandage. I wonât have to wear a name tag so if I decide to go to the next TFK jamboree. We do try and keep songs topical, we did one recently about yer wan Sharon Collins called Lying Eyes. Videos are just all homemade stuff done on a digital camera and pieced together.
Another one of the songs from 2008.
Shearwater - Rooks
Keeping up the tradition of classics covered by Elliott Smith.
The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset

And Elliottâs version

No apologies for putting Jizz In My Pants on this thread.
Itâs the debut single from The Lonely Islandâs debut album.
I think itâs excellent - check out Meadow Soprano in the video:
