Selby gets the snooker he required on the green to come back from the dead and pinch the second frame on the black. Ding knows what he’s up against now, 2-0 to The Jester.
Ding looks pissed off at that.
Selby gets a snooker to pinch the frame on the black for 2-0. Best and worst of Selby in that frame. He should have won it on his second scoring visit but inexplicably missed an easy pink to the middle.
Ding needs to settle down. He’s already allowing Selby to drag him into a dogfight.

Ding wastes a glorious chance to clear up by missing a simple red, Selby steps in and Ding now needs two snookers or else he’ll be 3-0 behind.

Ding misses a sitter of a red to the corner pocket 43-0 up having done all the work with the balls spread and Selby steps in with a 76 break to leave Ding needing three snookers.
Ding is looking very agitated and really needs to get off the mark or he could end up losing this match first session a bit like Jimmy to John Parrott in 1991.
