Youāre essentially confirming that Higgins has an appeal which is largely confined to the Pretend IRA/Glasgow Celtic crew.
Youād be on more solid ground to be describing the likes of Ronnie OāSullivan or Jimmy White as a forum favourite as opposed to the likes of a hugely divisive figure like Higgins, whoās reviled by most snooker fans.

Higginsā must have drawn on his renowned steeliness and composure in pressurised matchplay situations on the fateful occasion in Kiev. To carry off a relaxed demeanour when he was shitting himself on the inside was the mark of the bhoy.
