His story was laughable. I would imagine it wasn’t his first time attending those kind of meetings. They knew how to get the sting. His saving grace was that he had won multiple world titles. For the reputation of the game they let it slide. A grubby individual whose reputation is completely tainted.

A fantastic player.His all round game is brilliant. To get it back to 8-8 is remarkable. Maflin will be seething,he had his chance. I’d like to see Higgins go on now and finish it. And if he doesn’t I’ll get over it.

You do you speak for when you repeatedly insist on referring to Higgins as a ‘Forum Favouite’?

Here’s a broad sample of views on Higgins. He doesn’t appear to be a favourite of forum stalwarts and snooker aficionados like @fenwaypark, @balbec, @Tassotti, @mikehunt, @farmerinthecity, @johnnysachs to name but a few. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but I really dislike him as well.
