The Snooker Thread (Part 1)

Its 5-0 now.

Selby as you would have expected has had the upper hand in the safety exchanges, but Robertson has had good frame winning chances in 4 of the first 5 frames and has fluffed his lines every time. Robertson has a highest break of 35 so far. Selby has set it up for him here at the start of Frame 6, with reds spread everywhere. Robertson simply has to win this frame at one visit.

Wilson 5-3 Trump at the end of the session

5-2 Selby

Karma for Selby.

He put Robertson back in after ridiculously fluking a difficult snooker and now Robertson has just fluked a long red and associated positioning.

And another slice of luck for Robertson.

Ah this is poor stuff.

Robertson pulls out a great blue in fairness.

That’s a great last frame for Robertson to sneak after getting back in it initially on an outrageous fluke. Selby is not playing particularly well and hasn’t been for a long time. His early lead 5-0 lead had a lot to do with how out of sorts Robertson was. Robertson will probably be the happier player, even trailing at 3-5.

Williams and O’Sullivan share the opening 4 frames.

McGill 3-0 up vs Maflin.

3-2 Williams

McGill 3-1 up at the mid session interval

Williams 4-2 up

If it continues like this, Williams will win pulling up.

Totally on top.

Big few minutes coming up

Is Ronnie sulking yet?

O’Sullivan throws it away!

He’s in that humour.

4-1 McGill .maflin just threw away a frame with a poor rest shot. Real Patsy Fagan job.
