First signs of nerves don both players in the final frame of the session. It was asking a lot for both of them to keep up that standard, great chance for Murphy to take a three frame lead overnight.

What an absolutely superb session of snooker! Both players adopting a devil-may-care attitude and going for everything. This is as good a world final as I’ve seen, hopefully both players can keep this up tomorrow.
Bingham is a thoroughly alright sort. You could imagine him driving a white van around Basildon and coming in to your house to fix up a minor plumbing problem, and not even charging for it.

An improvement, spectator-wise, on, let’s say the Ulster Championship. 
Walter Donaldson and Horace Lindrum had both turned 40 when they won it. Bingham is 38.
