Iv a young fella who is gone very keen on the game, mainly due to a Santa present last year and him somehow finding Stephen Hendry’s YouTube channel. We head out to the local club most weekends and have a grand time of it.
Went up to the Waterfront last night with him to have a look at Trump, but I came away with more questions than answers.

Jack Lisowski just one step away from a maiden ranking title win. Advances to the final of the Northern Ireland Open to face either Mark Allen or Judd Trump.

Two fitting finalists for the Alex Higgins Trophy today. Fourth final in a row Lisowski has reached where his opponent is Trump, but his first since 2021. He has been the stand out player all week and could well make a fast start today too. Trump had a late one against Allen last night, and there must be some struggle for him to get properly up for this one considering the friendship and history.

Hope Jack wins. An ok week for Aaron Hill, made last 16 and lost to Mark Allen. Needs to go deeper. To answer your question about Hallworth, he’s won 20 grand this year. Impossible to make a living on that. Far too many pros now.
