The Snooker Thread (Part 2)

Lisowski levelling it up here at 11-11.

Think thatā€™s the first time Lisowski has been on level terms since 1-1.

He hasnā€™t had a challenge yet

Door wide open for Higgins. Then he misses an easyish red

Higgins gone to pot but not the actual ball.

What a miss by Jack L

This is very error strewn now, both players look shook.

He has failed to close out countless matches from winning positions this season. This could be another.

Higgins is really struggling here and right on the ropes. That was just inexplicable from Lisowski.

Like Williams earlier you would fancy the experience of the old dog to see him over the line.

Phil Yates reading TFK

You called it before the session, fear was Higgins might run out of steam

He hasnā€™t but of whatā€™s left, I could only see an in form Trump challenging Ronnie. Signs of a return to form from Trump tonight.

Big bonus for Ronnie, Selby and Robertson going out so early.

Williams admitted it after his poor 2nd session

Judd was excellent but Bingham made it easy. Missed pink to get to 10-9.

Gruelling mentally, over 7 hours for lads pushing 50. Very hard to stay tuned in especially when you add in the nerves.

36 frames to win over first 12 days of play in 3 matches to get to semi final.

You then have 35 to win in 5 days to win the semi final and final to lift the title.

Ronnie because of his fitness regime better placed to offset the age disadvantage but it really should be starting to favour Trump from here.

Something Iā€™ve noticed this year are the ā€˜blackā€™ corner pockets appear to be alot more receptive than the baulk ones.

The centre pockets have been bedlam at times
