The Sopranos

Great scene. Something like “of all the girls in New Jersey…”

Apparently the original scene was for the politician to be naked but the actor talked them around saying that it was unnecessary.

Correct

No doubt. That scene was powerful.

I don’t like Gandolfini in the lead role.

There I said it.

But he’s perfect for the role. His likeability/dislikeability is the essence of the show. Do you not like the character or him playing the character? He’s an anti-hero for much of the series before he becomes very dislikeable towards the end.

I don’t like him playing the character.

You have the oddest takes.

Ah jaysus farmer.

Flesh that out

Fun fact, Paulie and Junior share very little screen time over the entire series.

To be fair Junior was under house arrest so nobody was calling to him

The Terminator 2 lad’s gambling addict episode was on the last day (cc Bang) and you’d do very well to find a better one off character performance than Robert Patrick. I’ve seen so many cunts like that after losing their arse on the ponies.

Before they shot it Gandolfini was worried the prop belt would hurt Peter Riegert so Riegert told him to lash it into him before they shot it to test it out.
Gandolfini went to town on him with it and it was fine so that’s how they did the scene.
