The winner ran on flat for Oā€™brien and wins a 3 1/2 mile handicap chase!!!

Very impressed with Fame and Glory, smashing run from him. Disapointed that Sea the Stars didnā€™t get run as it was great ground for horses. The curragh is the truest test of a horse so it could have been a great Derby.

Next Saturday should be interesting, think I may be heading over for it

You can talk about the NH game and what not, but if itā€™s women youā€™re after the summer festivals are the job. Iā€™m not talking about a trashy cheapened week like Galway, Iā€™m talking about Ascot, Goodwood and York, top class festivals. Iā€™m heading to York for the Ebor and ladies day. Superb stuff and the cheapest bottles of proper champagne youā€™ll ever buy. 30 brick for a bottle of Bolly last time I was there, I was brushing my teeth with it in the end.

Were you working yesterday? Was out with a few lads last night whoā€™d been out there for a day and although the crowds were massively down on previous years, the stantard of fluff was as high as ever

I played a minor role in the running of the meeting Sledge.

There were some terrific ladies on view itā€™s true.

Think I spotted you on the box alright, tie and all

The camera may have briefly panned across me at one stage alright.

Would have been the weigh in after Famous Nameā€™s win I think

Iā€™m not sure if there was audio but I would have been the man who said ā€œThank you Patā€.

I was saying ā€œthank you Patā€ as well but not to his face, just to the laptop

You were on that good thing then. Pat is a gentleman of the weigh room. Very well liked.

Goldikova 5/2 in the Falmouth tomorrow with Bluesq.

I think this will be a ricket when the Freddie Head interview is published later today. He is exceptionally bullish about her chances, thinks she is a steering job. Huge question marks over Gosdenā€™s filly, Cheveleyā€™s two are good but I doubt theyā€™re up to her standard.

Iā€™ll throw a few quid on with Betfair purely on your advice so.

Nice work out of Limerick to beat the spread for the 3rd time this year. Pity Armagh messed up my 7/1 treble.

Limerick +8 or whatever it was was a great bet. Unfortunately i had them in a treble and was let down by Leitrim footballers the tards.

I had a nice single bet on them, along with including it in my treble. Tā€™was the best thing to come out of the day.

Limerick footballers have been very good to me over the years. My biggest ever bet was a grand on them +6 with the now defunct www.ukbetting.com against Kerry in a drawn Munster Final one year.

You actually put a bookies out of business, well done

They were a tin pot outfit, a guy who got fired out of Paddy Powers became one of their head traders. Thatā€™s never a good sign. I only won a small few quid off them, Iā€™d say their entire customer base was like a whoā€™s who of lads who couldnā€™t get on elsewhere (ie. unbeatable)
