Hard to see PonMeOath doing it with 11-7 on his back, but impossible to rule him out as well. The horse is trained with this race in mind every year. One of the owners got a call from the festival organisers last year asking for the cup to be returned before the race, they were told âSure thereâll be no need for that, weâll be hanging onto itâ. 
heâs physically a small specimen too if memory serves me, not built for carrying that kind of weight.

Clonmel⌠Some shocking scenes, horse got a compound fracture of a hind leg down at the bottom of the hill and proceeded to jump the next (with leg literally swinging off) until he came to a stop in front of the stand. I didnât wait to watch but I hope they had the creatur down quickly.
