restless harry 3.35 warwick 6/1,sam lord 1.40 wetherby 5/2
Anyone have to hand what meetings C4 are showing today?
4 from Warwick and 3 from Kempton
Thanks, Dan.
Jesus this new C4 racing is muck. To think they kept Mick fitz and Rishi and got rid of lads that actually can speak properly about racing.
Have backed Baile Anrai in the 3.15 Kempton @ 9/1 e/way.
Anyone ever back a 100/1 winner?
I backed one today but only at 7/1 with pp to place, the bollix.
1340 at Wetherby, prize fighter, was noted on ATR site

Mrs Mac backed Mon Mome to win the national at 100/1 a few years back. Rare enough to even see horses that price anymore. Your lad was seriously lucky the other one made a fuck of the last.
I backed Mon Mome at 66/1 when he won the national but was returned at 100’s. Guaranteed Price
Unfortunately that was fuck all good to me given the place bet, just watched it back now.
Whats the story with tickets for aintree for the national? Have the tickets to be pre booked or can they be got on the day?
I was looking into it and by the sounds of it you’d want to be buying them now. I’ll be purchasing mine next payday for the Earl Derby stand.
What about the 40 year old property developer that came over from England and rode his own horse to win the bumper in Navan yesterday?
What about him?
Voler La Vedette retired
I’d say he only did one lap. Joined in on the second circuit like Caughoo* in the National.
*A great hero of Fingal.
Ah that’s a pity. She seemed to be off this season though so no point in persevering when she could be sent for breeding. Her run against Big Bucks last year will probably go down as her best.
Weapons Amnesty also retired
Also a pity.
What would you do if JP came calling with the cheque book?
Say you owned a horse, that you bought for handy money as a foal and turned out to be a serious tool, maybe winning a p2p first time out and then winning a bumper or maiden hurdle. Would you sell it or take your shot at “living the dream”?
I know lads who are in the game full time would sell at the drop of a hat, but if you were just the owner of the odd one here and there and this was your chance at the big time, what would you do?
