The Sport of Kings & Equine Matters 🐐

Left too much to do and probably race went too fast for him. Cooper pulled him up when he had no chance of being in first 3. He seemed to be closing but emptied. He’ll be back to win a massive pot at a massive price again next year when Tony decides he wants him to win.

Sandymount Red that ferret trainer got an 8 year ban

Been a lot of support for dessie Hughes somethingwonderful in the bumper. Which in itself is unusual as he normally uses bumpers as education, has good bumper form in his 2 runs and ew price at 8 s

Ruby vs Townend - no contest. If my one could jump a hurdle it’d have been a good start!

Tomorrow looks like a cunt of a card. Anyone betting w/o on the Champion Hurdle?

McManus , the 3rd in that mares hurdle is out of the great like a butterfly. They cross her with high chapperal, and then give the progeny to that fcuking ape Roche . Talking about a bad start in life !

Why is Kilbarry Beauty still running in bumpers?

Cos her owners are shrewdies

I see…

If bobbina had got up for third I was on the piss for the weekend. Good tipping by Fenners and Mac again! Tremendous young fellas. Arvika legionnaire did the business for me!

You’d have needed Bobbina to be 2nd BT I’m afraid, never looked likely the way she clattered her way around.

I may give up on the bumpers I’d say. Got them badly wrong all week.

Tomorrow could be the day Ruby cleans up.

As I said earlier, there’s a cunt of a card tomorrow so treat all this with a lot of caution. I don’t like the way Willie is hitting form as there’s potential for a lot of short priced winners tomorrow which won’t be carrying my money.

3.40 - rarely a race I’d get involved in. All horses have to be owned by members of the Kildare Hunt so you never know what kind of a cunt this throws up. If I’d pick one I’d go for Enniskillen after his moderate run here over the banks on Tuesday. Couple of horses having their first runs for new trainers which is always worth following the prices on. If badly stuck resort to the best jockeys like O’Connor who’s riding a former winner of the race.

4.20 - White Star Line based on his Cheltenham run with a small ew saver on Solstice Knight who I’ve been following for years.

4.55 - Panther Claw appeals more than most

5.30 - Would like a price on Rebel Fitz in the w/o market. Trying to convince myself to back ROR to win!

6.05 - Ubak is the value against the front 2. Willies will probably piss in though.

6.40 - Think it will finally be Moscow Mannons day to win a decent pot.

7.10 - Stick a pin in it! O’Connor riding for Tyner would catch my eye but other than that I’d be watching the market for clue.

7.45 - The front 2 are too short for me but they both deserve to be there. I’ll probably take a punt on Festive Affair.

Am nowhere near as confident as I would have been over the past 3 days so if you’re following these then tread carefully.

Very good chance of it. Backing Ruby blind is probably as good as trying to read the form.

Great picking again Mac.

Anyone got a clue what Davy Russell celebration, if you could call it that, is meant to mean?

If you have a BetVictor account you could do worse than bet with them tomorrow as they’ll refund the win part of any bet if you finish 2nd to a Mullins horse.

I’ve gone for Shangani in the 4.20 @14s

Only forgot that, not to worry Mac! Walking around with a healthy wallet after you today. Be boozing early tomorrow now!

I’ll get serious for once, if you’ve money made from the last few days put it away lads and just play around with what you’re happy to lose. Things could turn ugly tomorrow. A case could be made for Ruby winning on every ride he has. I’ll rarely back the cunt but days like tomorrow have the potential to leave me sickened. That is all.

I’ve gone all in (max bet) on pont Alexander @ 4/5. His run at naas was awesome and while he ran fine at che I think these gnd conditions make him unbeatable bar a fall. Would also strongly agree with fp, carling ford lough clearly highly regarded by John kiely and he is possibly the shrewdest judge of a horse in the country and overpriced @ 14s. Pulling him up in the Irish national means he is still fresh enough compared to home farm and co, lovely bet IMHO
