Fantastic news for Flaxen Flare and Bayans Cheltenham hopes [/quote]
Flaxen put up 8lbs for his leopardstown run. Very harsh

I saw Tony Martin said Quick Jack won’t go to Cheltenham now due to his mark.
Anything to take the attention away from Ted Veale…

Actually it was only 6lbs but just checked and he’s been put up another lb today so he’s off 149 over here. With the English handicapper sure to increase his mark again for Cheltenham, he’s going to find it tough off 150+
Bayan was put up 2lbs last week for rolling around a stable and eating hay
It won’t fucking stop us though
Presuming wonderful charm goes for the JLT, you’d have to really like ballycasey for the RSA. Smad place and Sam winner must also be respected . Can’t have morning assembly, probably has the class but trainer, jockey, and that leop run all negatives for me

Kumbeshwar
Grand vision
Oscar whiskey

KC. If you don’t mind me asking. Why would you do a L15 with two v short ones. Costs an extra four quid for the win stakes and worthless on two odds on shots there. Seen it a few times now
Would a Yankee and 2x2 unit win bets on kumbeshwar and grand vision not have been better option. Or Yankee and 2ew or 4 win accum as well just in case you get em all up?
Just curious
Ballycasey has done nothing so far over fence to warrant his price.
The potential fields for the RSA & JLT do not look great - is it a poor year for novice chasing above 2m? Hard to see many gold cup horses in there
None of them really have though no?
I wouldn’t pick out Sam Winner etc. as anything special though I expect Nicholls’ team will be firing in Cheltenham.
Going to put up Montbazon at 25s for Betfair Hurdle. Has a good course and distance record, stable in form and if retaining ability from his novice season then he is easily the best handicapped horse in the race. Fact that Choc rides instead of Vendor is notable aswell.
Chrispee Green for me. Significant money on Alaivan too.
Far West is the other I like. I think he had a wind op after last run. Will relish the ground and some juice left in his mark. Harry Derham takes a handy five off. Looks a decent renewal.
Agree on Far West logic too. Think ulcers were found after his last run.
An ex-poster from here, who would have his ear to the ground sent me a message today saying to back him.
My only concern is the volume of rain due to fall Friday night/Saturday morning. Could turn it into a mud bath.
You’re right, ulcers rather than a wind problem.

I would say more rain the better for For West. Give my regards to that ex poster.

She got this much right… “I know it is selfish and cowardly but for me it is my only option.”
Poor Fozzy. He’s looked after his dad for years now and always comes across as a thoroughly alright sort. He must be absolutely devastated.
