Not at all, even Ulster people got bored of trying to pretend the nonsense on show in recent seasons was in any way entertaining or skilful. I was at a brilliantly enjoyable Ulster championship game today, it had more memorable moments than any Ulster game I’d attended in years despite being between 2 very limited teams. The rule changes for a more open game are great but what’s not talked about as much is how it has changed players attitudes as well, the intensity is still there but the horrible toxicity is gone from the game. It’s back to a game again that you would be proud to be associated with.
