You had his card marked a few posts back. If he’d broken Djokovic in that opening game, he’d have been like a guy going downhill with the wind at his back. As it is now, he’s likely to pick up up about 6 games before this is done and dusted. Flakey out.

Tsitsipas has upped it here a little but Djokovic is like an elastic band, he can retrieve from anywhere.
Djokovic seems to have perfected the drop shot.
Tsitsipas backhand is very loose.
Djokovic playing really well and takes the first set. Tsitsipas has caused him problems but I don’t think he has that resolve to take it to Djokovic on this form. He’s shanked a number of shots which have given Djokovic easy points and that’s the last thing you want to do.
Good response here from Tsitsipas but he needs to maintain this for longer periods to have any chance.
Think if Djokovic holds here it will crush Tsitsipas, Djokovic just coming up big on all the crucial points.
Playing Djokovic is like playing one of the slinky things. He can retrieve from anywhere and then get the most crazy angles on it, he can go from being on the backfoot to being on the front foot in one shot.

Bar the couple of loose games after the first game where he blew 4 break points he has been very good, Djokovic just isn’t making any mistakes.

Careless from Djokovic. 5-3 up and loses 4 games on the bounce to lose the 3rd set 7-5. He should still prevail from here but will have to use up reserves of energy he could need on Sunday. That was some forehand winner from Tsitsipas to win the 3rd set.
