Fair question. It is a contractually obliged aspect that you must do media activities that are requisite to taking part, so why indeed did she do it thinking the laws should be changed for her.

My cynicism tells there is something cynical in her position here.
Has she got an awful hard time from the press lately or something? I don’t really see the issue with sports stars responding to questions about their sports careers. Events and sports needs their big stars to sell the game, that’s what funds all their big sponsorship deals and prize money.
She would take some time away from the game if her mental health is a problem rather than demanding preferential treatment.
