nobody cares about this shit

Djokovic has been excellent here. The point he won to secure the break at the end of the first set was sensational. Nadal just hanging in there, holding from 15-40. Still a break down at 4-3.

Match point saved by Nadal in that service game and Djokovic will have to serve it out himself. 5-4.

Superb point by Nadal there. Deuce.

Another match point saved. This is quite the game of Tennis.

Djokovic wins. The best player in the world was simply too good for Nadal.

Going to be some battles between these 2 in 2014. I expect the number 1 position to switch between them quite a bit during the year. Can’t see Murray making any impression on these 2.

Depends which grand slams Nadal misses with his doping cycle.

Probably Wimbledon because it is so soon after the French open.

I see a Spanish woman tennis player was suspended for 2 years today after being found guilty of using banned substances.

Roger Federer comes from a set down and a break down to beat Thomas Berdych in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championship.

Impressive performance again after yesterday’s epic win over Novak Djokovic.

Dimitrov beat Murray in a bit of a epic in Acapulco 4-6 7-6 (7/5) 7-6 (7/3). Dimitrov has had a good start to the year, hopefully he can step up this year.

Roger takes the first set of the final at Indian Wells.

It was a good start by Federer but he has dropped off a bit now at the start of the second.

Good effort in the end but ran out of gas a bit in the deciding set tie break. Still he’s shaping up nicely and the year is all about the Championship the last week in June/first week in July. I’d really like to see Roger skip the muck season and preserve himself for proper tennis.

I hope he plays the Rome masters because I have tickets for the quarter final evening session and semi final day session.

I thought Federer was going to nick it there at the end of the third set, Djokovic was rattled. It’s been a good start to the year for Federer, I don’t think he will win a slam though, it would be nice but I think age is starting to catch up with him and he doesn’t have the legs to get him through to the end.:frowning:

If you’re going to miss a Slam, it might as well be the lottery in the muck.

Seventeen-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has hinted he could skip the French Open to be with his wife when she gives birth again.

Federer, 32, has twin daughters with wife Mirka and said last December they are expecting their third child, although they have not said when.

He said: "It’s a priority for me trying to be there, trying to support my wife.

“I’ve played enough tennis matches. Missing a tournament or missing a match wouldn’t change anything for me.”

Asked if that means he would be prepared to miss the French Open, which runs from 25 May to 8 June, the Swiss player added: "Yeah, let’s talk about it when it would happen.

“At the moment, we hope it’s not going to be that way.”

Federer, who beat Radek Stepanek 6-1, 6-2 in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters, has played in every Grand Slam since 2000.

Nadal beaten by ferrer he is not playing very well at the moment.

Only his second win on clay over Nadal in 10 years
