Nadal was in complete control of this match when he broke for 3-2 in the 2nd set. Cilic body language first set and a half was just awful. The immediate break back in Game 6 of the 2nd set was the lifeline for Cilic. His confidence soared from there even in losing the 3rd set tie-break.

He’s almost certain to bow out to the in form Chung who has 16 years on the Great Man and has already despatched Zverev and of course Djokovic.
But all in all its been a great tournament for Roger. He is in bonus territory now so he can go out and give it a right go. If he won the first set, who knows.
