Being outplayed by Djokovic on hard and grass courts is nothing new but Nadal has always been able to make a real battle out of it when he’s fit and injury free. Today he has just tried to force it too much. He’s always managed to survive and put doubts in Djokovic’s head.

Nadal leads 16-7 in head to head on clay. Djokovic had the measure of him on clay though 2013-16 before his meltdown after French in 2016. Djokovic won 5 of their 7 meetings on clay over those 4 years and one of Djokovic’s two defeats was 9-7 in the 5th set at Roland Garros in the 2013 French semi final.

Difficult to see Nadal winning many more Grand Slams. He’s essentially been a clay court specialist since 2010. Outside of French, just two US Opens 2013 & 17 since 2010. 2107 US Open was the weakest Grand Slam field ever assembled, with 5 of top 10 missing and the highest seed Nadal had to beat to win it was the 20th seed.
He is the only one to bring Djokovic to 5 sets in the past 3 slams and won 2 of the previous 3 before them. If he has no hope then its hard to see anyone stopping Djokovic, he could he be the undisputed GOAT by some time next year.
Well we all know you are a spoofer at tennis so I will explain this to you. On clay they can play when it is drizzling rain, only when he gets heavier do they take the players. You can’t, indeed Djokovic has criticised umpires in the past about play being allowed continue on clay when rain comes and didn’t utter a complaint about it being halted. The issue was the umpire allowed play to go on for over an hour in these conditions, it was dangerous and play should have been halted much
Now maybe if you tried to educate yourself on the game and stop letting your emotions weigh in when somebody delivers a few home truths on grass court tennis and its best players you might learn something. I don’t want to have to go through another summer of you saying the earth is flat when it comes to grass court tennis.
