The things you buy in Aldi and Lidl thread. (Think before you buy - reduce waste)

Mrs Pike always has a box of these lying around the place. They never last long. :smirk:

Lidl had some cheap deal on boxes of Tayto Crisps today, the missus called in there to pick some up for the Christmas. Sold out in a couple of hours this morning apparently. Your man told her they had seven pallets of them, all gone

People love a bargain.

1.99 for the box of 20 bags. They’re the small bags though.

Make sure you pay by card so you aren’t caught to pay the extra cent due to rounding

Lidl are selling a 2100w power washer next Saturday for€60… I shit you not.

That good or bad?

Link?

A lovely flower in a pot for 4.99 in Aldi Dublin road. I seen the identical flower in Joyces supermarket in Headford Co Galway last Wednesday for 21.99. Identical.

A further investigation reveals this seems related to their outlet(s) in Kildare town.

However, a nudge and a wink to the local honcho Viktor has put the wheels in motion . Wouldn’t be much discount if you put 200 miles into the equation.

In Viktor we trust . It’s not even for myself.

Seriously ? Is it definitely next Saturday?

In Kildare town, yes. Meanwhile, there’s a 2400w version currently on sale in all stores for €100.00. A more powerful machine and probably worth the extra €40. In all stores Viktor says.

Is this the bad boy?

What is it with roasters and power washers?

Lads who would not wash themselves or their children will soon be out washing the footpaths round the bungalow.

If you stick the word power in front of anything, the roaster will be intrigued.
