Is it worth a small stake, mate??
How much will Dublin beat Westmeath and Kildare cumatively in the their remaining two Leinster Championship matches?
I’ll go for 56 points.
Lads anyone see odds on Johnny Cooper to win an all star? If dubs win people will be all about the difference between this year and last year and he’ll get the mention every time.
No odds on pp and boylesports have no odds for dubs.
He’s their nominated “man marker” this year, so its a good call if you can get decent odds on it. If they win an All Ireland, he’s a shoo in.
Wexford priced up at 11/2 to beat Derry. On a line through Down, I don’t think they should be that big.
Also, more often than not, Derry throw in the towel once they are knocked out of Ulster.
already backed that
cheers for FYI
Wexford 3/1 to beat Cork. Good bet.
Clare -13 v Offaly at 5/6.
Superb call. Took them on -18 on the back of this recommendation.
2 more free fivers from the weekend from Tyrone and Dublin winning.
First one goes on a treble of
Longford 7/4 - this looks wrong to me. Not sure why Clare are favourites.
Kildare (-2) 5/6
Kerry (-3) 11/10
pays nearly 8.5/1
Second one goes on an anytime goalscorer double for this weekend
Conor McDonald 16/5
Joe Canning 5/6
pays just over the 6/1 target
Running bank -17.27
Harnedy first goal scorer against Wexford 15/2
anytime goalscorer Harnedy 13/8
One I must look into ref this Cork game is, Walsh to be first player subbed. He usually seems to be the first called ashore recently. Look into there for me, pal.
That Cork starting XV looks distinctly average on a phone screen. Has anyone checked to see how it looks on paper? Need to see what’s been happening in Wexford in the aftermath of the Nowlan Park massacre before I chaaaaarrrrrggggggeeeeee.
Did a speculative treble of Longford to beat Clare, Offaly to beat Kildare and Cavan to beat the Sheepstealers. Pays about 19-1. Put 5 points on that.
Put 5 points on Laois to beat a 9pt handicap vs the Dubs. 5/4. And put 2 points on them to beat the Dubs 8/1.
Already have 5 puts on Wx to beat Ck at 3/1.
Longford certainly look overpriced vs Clare
Limerick minors tonight at 11/10. Lost to Cork earlier but have 2 very good players back in the side, an extra game under their belt, home advantage and Cork are missing their best player.
Have a feeling Laois might surprise the Dubs
@myboyblue - is this feeling worth supporting with a bet?
I cannot in good conscience advise you either way to be honest. Our recent record in the qualifiers, albeit all away, is dreadful. However our record in O’Moore Park is formidable. I think it’ll be close but I said that about the Galway game. We ran Tipp to 4 last weekend so who knows.
Agree re:Longford. No basis for those odds.
Would be careful about Cork. Logic and form often goes out the window in this game. The more Cork are written off the more likely they are to perform. The passive nature of Cork football means they usually need to be really insulted before they create short bursts of desire. I expect a performance. Won’t be enough to win , but I think they may lead for a large part of the game until Kerry turn it on for a couple of minutes to scrape home.
Tipp are 4/1 to beat Kerry in the minor football this weekend. I don’t know anything about either team but is that overpriced?
Reigning AI champions, at home, I’m guessing they have a few of last years team too. But Tipp have been more than competitive at minor and u-21 in recent years, think they beat Kerry in Killarney in a minor final a couple of years ago. Are they worth a sneaky tenner @carryharry @Mullach_Ide
