A friend of mine did this. He won’t even talk about it the experience was so horrendous! Same lad runs marathons and is hardy enough

Potentially so.

Fair play to him and all but who was teaching the children while he was off swanning around the world?

G’man Gary. Used to work with me way back in the day. For a fella who was a serious athlete, his attitude to work was on the horizontal scale. Sound chap though.

Oirish teachers are sooo underpaid.

There will be an Irishman contesting the barkley marathons this year

The greatness Eoin (pronounced “Ian” cos he’s a Cark weirdo) Keith.

I’d expect him to complete fun run, maybe go further.

Gary Robbins back for his third attempt

he’s a tough cunt, but you wouldn’t know, hope he does it

Massive weekend for the sport

They’re out on the first loop

#BM100

Robbins will surely do it this year, I read a fantastic magazine article recently about last year’s race.
No Corkman ever pronounced Eoin as Ian

Conditions not good this year (they never are) and nobody knows if course has been changed.

Keith is good in the snow. The pronounciation of his first name is very strange behaviour

Ian is playing senior hurling now

A scotch lad second to complete the first loop.
Over half the field failed to finish first loop. Weather even more brutal than last year. Ian made it to second loop. Fun run at best for him

Nobody is going to finish it this year. Gary Robbins first to finish two loops in 23 hours. Nobody has finished five laps without completing first two laps in 20.5 hours or less

any sign of Cork Ian? probably asleep under a tree somewhere

Aeon or Ian or whatever he calls himself still hasn’t been heard off nearly 2 hours after missing the cut off for a fun run, christ another cork weirdo embarrasses Ireland on the national stage

Any updates on Gary Robbins?
