The unofficial 🐐 NRL thread

Also, fuck Manly.

Penrith will have some sore bodies after that dog fight with the Eels. Parras defence was admirable. Can’t see them having enough for a well rested Storm

We smashed the Manly fancy dans last night to advance to the final. Storm and Penrith face off tonight to see who joins us in the final. A lot of pundits here have this Storm team ahead of their Smith/Slater/Cronk team. They’ll be hard stopped.

Latrell must be kicking himself now at missing out on the grand final after that reckless shoulder charge a few weeks back.

6.00 in the morning in Sydney and you are posting on an Irish internet forum. # living the dream.

@myboyblue get the net, I have another!

Penrith lead Melbourne 6 zip at the break in a predictably dour affair. We have the measure of either of these in next weekend’s final.

Penrith extend their lead through Brian To’o. Massive upset brewing here.

Storm look cooked here. Penrith putting on a defensive masterclass.

Papenhuyzen with a fluky try. 10-6 Penrith. Massive finish coming up.

Penrith hold on. Storm never looked like scoring.

My beloved Rabbits v Panthers in next Sunday’s Grand Final in Suncorp.

Fuck me but this is some morning of sport from Australia.

Incredible. With capacity crowds all round. Great to see (CC @Enrique )

It defies logic to think Penrith could possibly hit the same levels physically for 3 weeks in a row. Insane the defensive performances they’ve put on and they’ll have to do it another week again.

Bennett the GOAT to leave redfearn with the goodies next weekend.

Did they wipe down the all important upper goalposts in hazmat suits after the game pal? :grinning:

Happy Grand Final Day everyone.

Throw-in in just under 4 hours.

Go Rabbits.

Just fell short. Would have loved that dropgoal attempt at the end to have gone over

1 outta 2. Hard to believe he’s only 24.

The dirty Storm went on to win unfortunately. Bunnies are a different team when Latrell plays.

Rematch of the grand final tonight as our beloved Rabbitohs travel to the foothills of the mountains to take on Penrith. Panthers once again favourites, but this time Latrell plays.

This one could be tasty.

Penrith a different class. 26-12. They’re looking untouchable again this year.

Haven’t had an opportunity to see any matches yet. Must start paying attention
