The Vinyl Thread

I got it via imusic.dk

Was sold out everywhere else

I ordered a record from recordhub. Through no fault of their own they can’t fulfill it. I got a lovely email to apologise and an offer of credit to make up. I said to him that the email was all the credit I needed.

I’d recommend therecordhub for all your vinyl needs but not vinyl tiles cc @gilgamboa

In fairness there is a great sense of honour in the online vinyl community. It’s extremely rare that a record arrives that is in worse shape than advertised.

He’s a customer for life now.

In fairness to you I sneered at vinyl and you a few times on here about it.

Best move I ever made was buying a record player and getting records again. I love it now and if I’m home alone I’ll put a record on now instead of TV. I’d make a habit of it on Fridays. The records. Not the home alone.

All Thanks to you.

And you a bollox

Vinyl is the new acoustic guitar at house parties (when they’re back)

The Four of Us must sound wonderful

Irish too :+1:

The sister ordered me the new Arab Strap one from them a few months ago for my birthday.

I had a similar interaction with Spindizzy records who are based in the George’s Arcade. No questions asked that a record they sent was faulty so I’d go out of my way now to give them a bit of business

I’d give a like for the New Order but would have to retract it for the Counting Crows.

Playing this now. A French Drone Folk record. Guitar drums and hurdy gurdy. Single sided album that plays from the inside out. Savage altogether.
