Hamburger Hill was good, released the same year as Platoon.
Platoon is a movie that if I’m channel hopping, no matter what stage the movie is at, I won’t pass it.

Honourable mention for Where Eagles Dare.

Greyhound is grand… Hollywood but a decent watch.

Thought it a bit repetitive. From open to close, seemed to just be doing the same shit but with varying intensity.

Watching Bridge over the River Kwai here.

The Japanese were some cunts.

Alec Guinness putting in a shift here.

What a movie. Great ending.

Watching Saving Private Ryan here. They weren’t too worried about false surrenders on Omaha beach

Waterford FCA for the most part sure.

Not a great week to be talking about surrender Fagan?

The first fifteen minutes of that is great

Mosul is the best war film I’ve seen in a long long time.

Ok ok flatty. We heard you the first time.

Going to watch the Longest Day on More 4 here in a couple of minutes. The book on which the film was based was written by Dublin born and Synge Street educated Cornelius Ryan and was a staple in pretty well every Irish household 50 years ago.

I’m trying to get them to throw on Saving Private Ryan here. We’re currently watching children play violin badly on TG4
