Bump
Good on him
I wouldnât mind Kobe going playing Soccer in England but to lose him to that shite Aussie Rules is a pity.
Thatâs some blow to mayo. I watched him play a few times. He didnât strike as a lad whoâd thrive in Aussie rules. He could really play football. I thought theyâd want more of an athlete.
Itâs a disaster for Mayo but heâs dead right to try it out.
How many have they over there now?
You should get your eyes checked
They would have won an all ireland if hanley had stayed
A wide is counted as a score in Aussie Rules so you can see why fellas from Mayo are much sought after there.
When they fleeced Laois for 3 in 2003 and and came looking for more, something should have been in place then as a means of regulating and compensating. Itâs a great opportunity but there should be a facility for some degree of compensation. Not enough for it to be a barrier for the players as itâs a wonderful opportunity for them, but certainly to give something back to the GAA Club. AFL is a wealthy sport, itâs shown this by the amount of money being put into WAFL, the tv deals are only increasing, the GAA slipped up here.
Fun fact: Former Mayo player Ciaran McDonald has nine children and each of them is named after a Japanese city.
They say 13 year old Kyoto Protocol-McDonald is looking like heâs going to be the best of the lot.
No. Each is named after an NBA player. Metta World Peace McDonald is on the minors next year
Why?
Compensating people who helped them in a different sport?
If kobe spent his summers playing tennis, as well should tennis Ireland get something?
Are gga players contracted to their clubs?
Wilt would be an appropriate name for a Mayo footballer.
Kareem Abdul McDonald will do untold
Heâs signing as a rookie at 17 years of age. Odds heavily favour him being back in Ireland by the time heâs 20, with 3 years of pro level conditioning under his belt. Mayo should be paying them.
