🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

It has not started yet be around the 20th I reckon before it gets quite cold.

OK,
I’m not being a cunt for the sake of it, but this is mumbo jumbo as far as I’m concerned. So do me the favour of explaining where you get your data for this. Is it yours or are you repeating what you heard elsewhere?
And so we’re clear because I’m open minded enough, you predict a six week freeze starting on the 20th January?

The BBC are still monitoring the polar vortex.

A typical winter long range forecast really,
Again, we’re a tiny island in the middle of an ocean, anything beyond 10 days is a dart throw

cc @TreatyStones how’s this looking for Eire, is it likely to come this far west?

Their getting their data off the weather thread on boards.ie

The amplifications over Greenland certainly leads one to slightly worry about a sustained cold snap coming into play for most of February and March

You sir, are a charlatan

I suppose I’m getting my information from boards and trying to pass it off here as my own, is it?

It’s still uncertain, but this is event that was predicted on here two weeks ago. Some of the models are beginning to show the potential for a severe cold snap, but nothing definite yet.

Sure you wouldnt know what the day is going to be like on the day in Ireland not to mind in two weeks time

What’s boards?

The place where half the forum gets their info on sports/politics/ life and then passes it off here as their own.

You’re telling me all of my thought leaders are false gods? :exploding_head:

Yes…mere mortals.

If the country freezes over for six weeks I know one poster who’ll be feeling very smug.

I pay heed to all your weather warnings and was aware of the original bulletin, just checking for any further developments so we can prepare accordingly. Being a soft townie cunt in the sticks caused some issues the last time.

Minus 8 here this morning

I don’t know how you do it.

It’s a different kind of cold to what we get here in Oireland.
