Mainly as above bar a few good falls around the south and west area. The wind from the East kept the front away from Dublin and shoved in over Mayo instead.

The wind the last two days here has been brutal. We got some snow on Tuesday and Wednesday but not a drop since.
The neighbours are on my case wondering why they bought excess food and supplies after expecting to be buried in snow for a week. I had told them an online weather expert guaranteed we’d be snowed in. Yourself and @BruidheanChaorthainn need to be banned from the thread for a week

Six weeks of snow… The two bastards were relentless with this prediction. We all look like fools now.
There’s no shame in being wrong. Maybe just stick to the horses though and leave the weather predictions to the people who know what they’re talking about

The local farmers were saying there was great growth for the past few weeks. That 6 week cold snap did wonders for amateur gardeners and farmers

There was a wind chill of -7 during the week and I assume he meant 10/11 February to tie in with what happened in 2’18.
